Altair Park Improvement Project

South Suburban is planning improvements at Altair Park. The renovation will include a new playground, shade shelter, site furnishings and amenities, and new ballfield dugouts and backstops. Improvements will be focused on accessibility from the parking along Altair Drive to the ballfields and playground, as well as connectivity to the intersection of Peacock Drive and Mercury Circle. Additionally, the project will be exploring the potential of including a full-court post-tension slab basketball court in the park, and vault toilets or a san-o-let enclosure to be integrated into the site design.
