Planning is underway for a new playground at Carriage Club Estates! The planned improvements include a renovated playground area with new play equipment and safety surfacing, a larger shade pavilion, and site furnishing such as picnic tables, benches, bike racks, etc. Concrete walking paths will be replaced as needed to improve accessibility.

    The design consultant completed preliminary concept designs for the proposed park improvements. Staff are reviewing plans and providing feedback for further design development. A schematic design is anticipated in early April.

    Staff participated in a kickoff meeting with the design consultant and established the project schedule. The design consultant is now developing a preliminary conceptual design for the proposed park improvements and will complete an initial draft by the end of March.

    Staff selected a design consultant for the conceptual design of Carriage Club Estates Park improvements. The design consultant will begin work on a preliminary site plan which will be presented to the Board of Directors this Fall. Public outreach opportunities are tentatively scheduled for mid-October.

    A surveyor collected data in the park in July. Staff are requesting proposals from local design consultants to develop initial concept plans for the park improvement project. Please look out for notices regarding public input opportunities in October.
