Conceptual Design Update

Staff met with the design consultant to review conceptual designs for the park. Proposed improvements include:

• Revising the trail connection at S Eudora Way and E Maple Dr

• Converting the existing asphalt trail to concrete and relocating it approximately 10 feet north of the top of bank to reduce erosion and protect tree root zones

• Addressing accessibility issues in the parking lot

• Reconfiguring the shelter and playground layout to accommodate more shade and seating

A public input meeting date is being discussed and will be held soon.
