Bridge Abutments

The abutment caissons were drilled and poured just before the Thanksgiving Holiday on November 16th, and the remainder of the abutments formed and poured Thursday November 30th. The temporary land bridge in the canal is in the process of being removed so the banks of the canal can be restored. The concrete has reached full strength and the bridge is due to be delivered to the site and placed on the abutments on Wednesday, December 13th. We are on track for the project to be complete at the end of January.
