Bridge Delivered and Placed

On the morning of Wednesday, December 13, the new bridge was delivered to the site and craned into place. On Thursday, December 14, the bridge deck concrete was poured. The contractor will be working over the next two weeks to pour all the additional concrete flatwork for the landings on either side of the bridge, as well as the trail connection south of the bridge into the Preserve at Southbridge neighborhood. Boulders for the amenity area are being delivered to the site this week and their placement will wrap up any grading and site work left at the site. We anticipate the trail to reopen in mid-January if the weather continues to cooperate for the next few weeks.
