High Line Canal Trail Reopens!!!

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024 the Elati Pedestrian Bridge Replacement project was completed and the High Line Canal Trail reopened to trail users and the public. The contractor will be on-site for a few hours over the next week or two to complete some very minor details, but that work will not interfere with public use of the trail. The new amenities adjacent to the bridge include a bench and boulder rest area just off the trail and a row of birdhouses. We look forward to some of our local bird species taking up residence near the Elati Bridge this Spring.
