Exciting changes are planned for Columbine Manor Park! The playground will be expanded and relocated closer to the multipurpose fields, improving access from the parking lot and better sightlines for caregivers with children playing in both areas. New play equipment and rubberized safety surfacing will improve accessibility throughout the playground. An undulating concrete path around the playground acts as a miniature pump track giving children opportunities to improve their bicycle skills. A shade pavilion will be built adjacent to the playground protecting park visitors from the elements. The existing playground area will be planted with irrigated turf. Other improvements include a new enclosure to screen the san-o-let, parking lot drainage and surface repairs, relocating the existing backstop, and a new concrete path connecting to S. Platte Canyon Dr.
