The High Line Canal - Lee Gulch Amenity Area Improvement Project is planned in concert with the High Line Canal Conservancy to implement objectives and goals of the High Line Canal Vision Plan. The project at the intersection of the High Line Canal Trail and Lee Gulch Trail aims to enhance trail user experience, provide amenities and educational opportunities for the community, and preserve historic and natural resources along the canal. The improvements include an improved trail intersection, boulder scramble, boulder terrace seating, overlook with benches, and interpretive signage and log stump steppers. Construction will take place May through July 2024, and trail closures on portions of both the High Line Canal Trail and Lee Gulch Trail between Broadway and W. Fremont Avenue will occur.
