The Hunters Hill Park Playground Surfacing project will remove the old rubber tiles and engineered wood fiber currently found in the playground. A new rubberized safety surfacing tile system will be installed throughout the entire playground footprint. This project will improve safety and accessibility throughout the playground and reduce the maintenance requirements of the existing surfacing.

Plans are currently being prepared. The project is anticipated to go out to bid in July 2025, a contractor will be selected by September, and the project will be completed later this Fall.
