Design work is underway for improvements to the parking lot. The project includes raising the grade of the parking lot to pipe the irrigation flow from the Bowles Grove Pond to the driving range lake, separating trail access to the Mary Carter Greenway from vehicle/cart traffic, and converting the pond on the corner of Federal Blvd. and Bowles Ave. to a storm water basin. Other improvements include landscape islands in the parking lot, enhanced landscaping along Federal Blvd. and Bowles Ave., and the addition of a small shade pavilion near the Mary Carter Greenway Trail connection.

Staff received comments from the City of Littleton on the third submittal of construction documents. Comments will be addressed prior to the contractor submitting for construction permits. Additionally, comments from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers were addressed and the 408 permit was re-submitted; however, the Corps has notified us of a funding shortage in the Section 408 Program for fiscal year 2025, that has impacted their ability to progress toward a decision on our Section 408 request. It is unclear at this time when will the permit will be reviewed.
