South Suburban is excited to announce the Sunset Park Improvement Project! This project will bring upgraded playgrounds for ages 2-5 and 5-12, a new shade structure, and upgraded site amenities, including bike racks, picnic tables, and benches. Additionally, we’ll be installing new ADA-compliant walkways to ensure a more accessible park for all.

As we plan these improvements, we’re carefully considering existing site constraints, such as the overhead electric lines and the Aurora Water line easement.

Next steps include submitting the plan to the City of Centennial for a pre-submittal meeting, followed by a public open house to gather community input.
