Playground Equipment & Shelter Delay

Due to manufacturing delays, the delivery dates for the playground equipment and shelter have been postponed. We now anticipate the arrival of these materials during the week of August 5th, with installation to occur immediately upon delivery. In the meantime, minimal work will be conducted as the remaining tasks are contingent upon the installation of the playground. Items remaining until the project is complete:

- Installation of the playground equipment

- Installation of the 4" concrete subbase

- Installation of the rubber safety surfacing

- Installation of the engineered wood fiber

- Installation of the new 20' x 20' shelter

- Installation of shelter electrical (this item will be delayed due to an unanticipated Xcel transformer needing to be installed in the park, but will not impact opening the park)

- Installation of site furnishings (ADA tables, tables, benches)

- Regrading and installing new asphalt in the parking lot

- Installing new parking lot striping

It is anticipated that construction will be complete mid-late September.
