Hudson Gardens Vision Plan
Hudson Gardens Vision Plan: Cultivate the Future
South Suburban is inviting the community to "cultivate the future" of The Hudson Gardens & Event Center through a public engagement campaign. Community members are encouraged to share their ideas and help shape the future of this beloved scenic space.
Hudson Gardens is committed to serving as a recreational, educational, and cultural hub for the community. The Hudson Gardens Vision Plan will enhance the gardens as a destination for celebrations and events, expand offerings, and ensure long-term sustainability.
Since assuming operations of Hudson Gardens, South Suburban has allocated more than $5.4 million for Capital Improvement Projects through 2025. The largest project to date is the $2.6 million Pond and Stream Improvement Project. The Hudson Gardens Vision Plan will build on these investments and guide future improvements and programming over the next decade.
The public will have multiple opportunities to provide input this fall, including events at Hudson Gardens, pop-up events in the area, stakeholder and focus group discussions, and online surveys.
Together, we can cultivate a vibrant future for Hudson Gardens for years to come.

I like the kid zone and free resource. I'd like to see it kids focused.
Very nice paths to walk and very well maintained.
I would like to see a way to manage water use and recycle water.
The Hudson garden has an amazing pumpkin magic of the jack-o-lantern exhibit. I love the openness of the space with everything.
Although everything was stunning, I would love to see a bigger variety or water exhibit in the area.
Carasaeul for families and open air bar for parents, just like the zoo
Enhanced marketing as regional draw to attract people to Littleton.
Partner with schools for year round educational opportunities.
Special event ticket costs can be pricey
Unsure if the summer concert series has resumed post pandemic? We enjoyed those prior but wasn’t aware if they were fully back.
I would love it if we used the grounds by the river to build an open air structure for drinks and snacks like at the south suburban rec center on county line. We would get so many patrons for the view
I miss the concerts. Maybe a permanent stage.
I'd like to see Rotating art shows.
I'd like to see More activities regularily.
Expand the use of the concert space. More evening/weekend events
I'd like to see Concerts return!
I'd like to see Play structure for kids
I'd like to see More picnic tables
I’d like to see easier driving access to the main entrance, more connectivity between downtown and the gardens.
Not object to entry fee
Improve the Entrance drive - the traffic light takes a long time to turn.
I know parking can be a challenge for popular events but it seems in partnership with ACC you handle that pretty well.
