Hudson Gardens Vision Plan
Hudson Gardens Vision Plan: Cultivate the Future
South Suburban is inviting the community to "cultivate the future" of The Hudson Gardens & Event Center through a public engagement campaign. Community members are encouraged to share their ideas and help shape the future of this beloved scenic space.
Hudson Gardens is committed to serving as a recreational, educational, and cultural hub for the community. The Hudson Gardens Vision Plan will enhance the gardens as a destination for celebrations and events, expand offerings, and ensure long-term sustainability.
Since assuming operations of Hudson Gardens, South Suburban has allocated more than $5.4 million for Capital Improvement Projects through 2025. The largest project to date is the $2.6 million Pond and Stream Improvement Project. The Hudson Gardens Vision Plan will build on these investments and guide future improvements and programming over the next decade.
The public will have multiple opportunities to provide input this fall, including events at Hudson Gardens, pop-up events in the area, stakeholder and focus group discussions, and online surveys.
Together, we can cultivate a vibrant future for Hudson Gardens for years to come.

I would like More paved trail to be accessible for larger audience. More community events.
I would like to see Higher quality execution of existing spaces and gardens
I have also been there for beer tasting functions each year.
I like the special events ie pumpkins and holiday lights
Gorgeous grounds, serenity, Nixons cafe, people watching the bike path, kids always find creatures , perfect t picnic spot
Newsletter is great. I like the variety of events that are offered. Love that it’s accessible from the bike path. Nixon’s is awesome. I like the mature trees and landscaping, it’s very peaceful
Beautiful gardens. Well maintained. Children’s scavenger hunt. And walkable art for all to see.
I like the Railroad
Love the open access from the Mary Carter greenway: it's very inviting. Also like wandering around seasonally; e.g., seeing the pumpkin displays in the mornings!
Beautiful environment that feels like it’s farther removed from the city than it actually is. Well maintained. Love the kids scavenger hunt and the art.
Holiday programming is a Littleton favorite for all too.
Acessibility/cost is great, as are the varieties of gardens to visit in a relatively small space.
I like Concerts!
I like all of the nature, walkable, events, accessibility,
It has great spaces for events. I have been there for city functions and a wedding.
I like the quiet, peaceful atmosphere
I like the location related to Littleton Unique space in the region Potential!!!
I love the size of the event space. It generally gets over crowded in spaces, but not at the gardens! I would like to see extended parking to prevent such a far walk during events.
It is very beautiful and I enjoy the seasonal environments (Halloween, 4th of July, Christmas, etc.). I'd like to see more seasonal decor, lol. If they don't do it already, a Valentine's, St. Paddy's theme.
I like that it is serene and beautiful. Great location. I'm not sure if it is doable, but a coffee shop would be well attended.
