Hudson Gardens Vision Plan: Cultivate the Future
South Suburban is inviting the community to "cultivate the future" of The Hudson Gardens & Event Center through a public engagement campaign. Community members are encouraged to share their ideas and help shape the future of this beloved scenic space.
Hudson Gardens is committed to serving as a recreational, educational, and cultural hub for the community. The Hudson Gardens Vision Plan will enhance the gardens as a destination for celebrations and events, expand offerings, and ensure long-term sustainability.
Since assuming operations of Hudson Gardens, South Suburban has allocated more than $5.4 million for Capital Improvement Projects through 2025. The largest project to date is the $2.6 million Pond and Stream Improvement Project. The Hudson Gardens Vision Plan will build on these investments and guide future improvements and programming over the next decade.
The public will have multiple opportunities to provide input, including events at Hudson Gardens, pop-up events in the area, stakeholder and focus group discussions, and an online survey.
Together, we can cultivate a vibrant future for Hudson Gardens for years to come.

We did not like how traffic was handled for the Halloween event this year.

I like the spacious park/family friendly. Enjoy Mabic of Jack-o-lanterns.

I like the location, trails, outdoor space for locals.
I'd like to see better outreach? I haven't seen any marketing for Hudson Gardens. I'm told the concerts should come back!
Include horticultural therapy programming. Target audiences could include those with dementia and their care partners, those with intellectual/developmental difficulties, community wellness, etc

I've walked by mine times and I have entered once the holiday is always great and look forward to it all the time.
Discovered the great trail and we would love to attend a concert sometime!
Go back to having awesome concerts like Seal, which was SO much fun. We live in Summit County but we and our 2 friends spent the night down there and LOVED the concert. Haven't been back since.

I like events, the pumpkin/halloween is always fun, kinda $ but fun.
I'd like more real restrooms, no porta pottys. I may need to learn more about what you all do, but please do cultural, sustainable, and ethnic events/ programming. I love learning about other cultures.- Christmas tree event?! - more inclusive language or "winter wonderland."
