Kline Homestead Park Improvement Project
Exciting plans are underway for Kline Homestead Park! Proposed improvements include new playground equipment with poured in place rubber safety surfacing to increase ADA accessibility throughout the playground area and a post-tension basketball court for enhanced durability. A larger, lighted shade pavilion and san-o-let enclosure will improve comfort and safety for park visitors. Updated site furnishings including picnic tables, benches, and a bike rack will replace amenities at the end of their useful life. New concrete flatwork will ensure ADA accessibility around proposed amenities and the parking lot will be resurfaced.

South Suburban is planning updates for Kline Homestead Park. The proposed updates include upgrading the existing playground area, basketball court, and parking lot. The playground area will include a larger shade pavilion with more picnic tables, new playground equipment, poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing, and supporting amenities like benches, and trash receptacles. The existing asphalt basketball court will be replaced with a post-tension concrete court. The asphalt parking lot surface will be milled, overlaid and re-striped.
