Southeast Stormwater Authority (SEMSWA) will improve the Lee Gulch stream at S Clarkson Street within the open space owned by South Suburban. Over time, sediment accumulation from storm events has deposited in Lee Gulch, reducing flow capacities and degrading the natural stream corridor. Additionally, sedimentation partially blocking the culvert under Clarkson Street creates the potential for flood flows to overtop the road during larger storm events.

SEMSWA's goals are to improve public safety, restore hydrology, and enhance habitat diversity to Lee Gulch, creating a vibrant, ecologically diverse natural space for the community. For move information visit SEMSWA's project page.
