Map of the Mary Carter Greenway Detour at Reynolds Landing

The section of the South Platte River that flows through Reynolds Landing Park is closed for in-river construction. All users must exit the river upstream of the park and portage approximately 1/4 of a mile around the construction area. Construction may be intermittent; however, the river will be closed for the duration of the project. Closure is necessary due in-river hazards such as sheet pile diversions. The anticipated re-opening is Spring 2027.

The parking lot remains open during construction.

The contractor installed sheet pile to separate the area where they are working from the river flow. The sheet pile will be in place for the duration of the project even if no work is occurring in the river. Please be aware of warning signs placed upstream of Reynolds Landing and exit the river at the designated location.
