South Suburban is excited to announce the Powers Park Improvement Project! This project includes major renovations such as improving the playground area, circulation around the park via a loop trail, outdoor plazas, and native landscaping pockets with interpretive signage. Proposed improvements to the playground area include new playground equipment, poured-in-place safety surfacing, a larger shade pavilion, and new accessible concrete walkways. Additional improvements include supporting site amenities like new benches, trash receptacles, and tables.

    Community members are invited to provide input on proposed improvements at Powers Park through an online survey, which will be available from Oct. 3-Oct. 30. Neighbors are also invited to an in-person public input event on Oct. 17 from 4:30-6:30 pm at Buck Recreation Center (2004 W. Powers Ave., Littleton, CO 80120) in the Santa Fe Room.
