Exciting improvements are coming to Sweetwater Park! South Suburban is launching a planning and design project to enhance this beloved community space, and we want to keep you informed every step of the way.

Sweetwater Park, a nearly 32-acre park located along the Willow Creek Regional Trail in Lone Tree, has been a valued community asset since 1987. The park features walking paths, Willow Creek Trail, sports fields, a playground, a basketball court, a pavilion, and picnic areas.

In 2022, Douglas County acquired the northern parcel of the park, originally designated for a future school site, and deeded it to South Suburban. This land was officially annexed into the City of Lone Tree in June 2023 and re-platted as part of the unified Sweetwater Park.
